Blais Collectors
So Mrs. Blais & Her son Dave, who is a restaurant owner, end up picking up this painting. And then a couple months later, after i finished "American Alien Baby" and "Argus Weeps" Blais bought those originals off of me also. Prices went up and since they were my second collectors they got the paintings for $1350. Not murder, not super superb, but hey what the hay, I'm a clowny alien painter guy just makin' my way with this new genre .

Park City Painting July 4th 2011
This was so totally bad assed. lol, I was invited to paint in Park City Utah during July 4th 2011, outside next to a whole set of bands and people dancing and eating on this deck which got crowded due to the 4th parade. So I'm all busted up in the feet and kickin' back in my recliner camping chair to paint my 'American Alien Baby', which, I thought, was totally suited for the 4th of July with all the flag stripes and stars etc.. and took a break and rolled out all of my clowns on canvas paintings and got a pretty large crowd for about 20 minutes. lol
Haven't updated my Clowns on Canvas blog in sometime so a lot of this is goink to be past tense. Just catchin' up. This is me sitting next to the finish of "Looky Looky". Love this piece. Took so many features from people i've known to create the characters, and the expression of the woman clown is one i've always felt was haunting and evaluative.
